Save a backup

In Settings → Backup & restore, choose Save backup file. It saves an encrypted .lollet copy of all wallets. On iPhone and iPad, choose a location in the Files save dialog; on Android, choose a folder. Cancelling does not record a backup.

On browsers with a supported file-save dialog, Lollet records a successful save when the file write completes. Other browsers start a download: check Downloads to find the file. A download request alone does not prove the file reached storage and does not mark your backup as current.

Backup status refers to the snapshot saved, across all included wallets. Changes made afterward still need a newer backup. Keep an independent copy and your recovery information safe.

Restore or inspect a backup

Choose Restore my wallet before unlocking, or Import in Settings → Backup & restore. Select a .lollet file, or connect the Google account used for backups and choose a version. Direct iCloud restore is available in supported iPhone and iPad builds using the same Apple iCloud account.

Use the passphrase or recovery phrase that worked when the backup was created. Changing credentials does not update older files. Unlocking authenticates the backup and opens a preview of its wallets, balances and details. Nothing changes until you choose and confirm a restore operation. Cancel the preview to inspect the file without restoring.

The preview proves this app can read the selected file; compare its date, wallets and recent records before relying on it. It does not prove the file contains your latest changes or will restore on another device. For a full restore test, use a spare device and compare records after restarting.

Update Lollet on the destination if a file requests a newer reader. Backup compatibility depends on its format and required reader capabilities, not the displayed app version alone.

Cloud backup and sync

Connecting Google Drive or iCloud enables access to storage. It does not turn on sync or upload a backup by itself. Use Back up now for an independent recovery point.

To share later changes across devices, restore the same vault, connect the same cloud provider and enable its sync option in Backup & sync. Automatic sync runs only when enabled and while Lollet is open and unlocked. Use Sync now for an immediate check. Review conflicting changes before confirming a choice.

Google access is renewed as needed. Reconnect if access was revoked, the account changed or the web authorization cookie was removed. Android uses Google Play services; direct iCloud requires an available Apple iCloud account.

Exchange rates

Manual and saved rates work offline. Find an estimate opens the optional lookup; Load dated estimate checks the public cache and contacts Frankfurter only if needed. Only currencies, a date and the selected source are requested; transaction amounts, entries and wallet names are not sent.

ECB estimates use dated euro reference observations. Pairs outside Lollet’s supported ECB set use European Commission InforEuro monthly accounting observations through Frankfurter. Monthly estimates are not daily market prices or bank quotes. Source and effective date are shown with each estimate.

When no ECB observation exists on the requested date, the source may return an earlier observation. Check the displayed effective date before using it. InforEuro estimates use the first day of the requested month; incompatible or missing observations are rejected, leaving manual entry available.

Use this estimate selects a candidate. Review its scope and save the entry or rate choice before it affects your records. New downloads never rewrite old transactions or silently replace saved rates. For future, unavailable or unsupported estimates, enter the amount or rate you actually used.

Review reminders never download or change rates. Clear downloaded estimates in Saved exchange rates to remove the separate public cache; saved entries retain their rates and attribution.

Remove local or cloud data

Delete all wallets on this device removes local wallets. It does not remove cloud backups, sync history, exported files or copies held by someone else. Copies already shared cannot be recalled.

On the web, disconnect Google in Backup & sync → Advanced before deleting local wallets if you want its server authorization record removed immediately. For removal after local access is lost, email info@l2ita.com. Revoking provider access and deleting stored files are separate actions.

In Advanced, review older backup versions before removing them. Automatic retention runs after a new backup succeeds, preserves the newest versions for each vault, and does not clean sync history. Lollet protects the newest backup for each vault and the version recorded in its current backup receipt.

For complete Google cloud-file removal, turn off Lollet sync on connected devices, then follow Google’s hidden app-data removal instructions for Lollet in Drive’s Manage apps settings. For iCloud, turn off sync on connected devices and use Apple’s Files or iCloud storage controls to remove the Lollet documents you choose. Keep any recovery copy you need first. Provider deletion is irreversible and does not erase local wallets.

If Lollet cannot open local storage

Keep the app installed and preserve its browser data. Retry recovery or restart the device. If another Lollet window is open, close that window first. Use Contact support on the recovery screen if the problem continues. Deleting the app or clearing browser storage can remove the only local copy.
